Responding to a greater public awareness of the environmental damage being done by the common Plastic give-away Shopping bag, we have developed this practical range of re-usable shopping bags, which will greatly assist shoppers in reducing the number of disposable bags used. 1.Cotton Calico Shopping Bag. (Un-Bleached)
This bag can be made to your specifications and sizes and is the most simple of 2 handled shopping bags. It is washable, can be logo printed and will carry at least 10 kgs of products to and from the shops, hundreds of times over. Our standard sizes are 44cms Deep x 37cm Wide, or 45cms x 44cms. (One bag replaces approx 200 plastic bags, as it can be used approx. 200 times before replacement is needed)
2. Poly Propylene (PP), Non-Woven Shopping Bags.
A wide variety of colours, styles and sizes are possible in this lightweight, strong, re-cycle able non woven material. Printable and ideal for promotional impact purposes, these bags are very colourful, versatile and popular with consumers. They are most definitely a promotional billboard for logos and products. Often used as a retail promotional tool or as a redemption item in stores, with great success and popularity. (One bag replaces approx 150 plastic bags)
3. Supermarket Trolley Bag. “The Big Bag”.
This strong, attractive and serviceable bag fits right into the trolley you wheel around the Supermarket. No need for plastic bags with this one Big Bag as you simply fill it up as the Checkout scans your goods and then carry or wheel it straight to your car or home. This bag is so easy to use and also so environmentally sensible. It easily substitutes for 6-8 plastic bags each time it is used. Printable and lightweight, this bag has so many other uses around the home, the workshop or the workplace. (One Big Bag replaces approx 500-800 plastic bags)
(Technical & General Information.)
Made from: 100% Poly-propylene Non Woven fabric. The fabric comes in a wide range of weights (Grams per square metre or gsm). Weights from 50gms to200gsm are available. The green Woolworths bag is typically 85-90gsm while the Green Coles bag is heavier at 110gms. The heavier the weight, the higher the price. We believe 80-90gms is adequate for shopping bags. A lighter bag is fine as a shoe bag or as a give away bag for clothing or lighter weight items. Quality accessories and Sewn in or stick on labels, bar code and brand tickets are used as required.
Printing: On light and dark coloured bags excellent printing of from 1-4 colours is possible. As a plasticised ink must be used, the cost of printing more than one colour per print location rises considerably. One-colour prints are generally very visible and attractive. Please provide your artwork on a disc or e-mail if you can. If a hard copy is provided please separate the colours and provide good clear black colour separated originals as artwork. The best colour reference is the Pantone matching System. Provide a colour swatch of each colour if you do not have access to a Pantone colour guide.
Packing: We generally pack 100 pieces per export carton and these cartons weigh approx 12-15 kgs. depending on the size of the bag and the weight of the fabric. To keep bags looking good upon unpacking we do not recommend folding non-woven bags in shipment cartons. One 40’container of. Woolworth’s bags in 80-90gms fabric will hold 70,000 bags.
Production: We have the capacity to produce very large quantities of Non Woven bags. Currently we make 500,000 per month and this could be increased to 1,000,000/month. We guarantee that all of our products are made in privately owned and operated factories and never in prison factories or factories employing child or forced labour. Our customers are encouraged to become closely involved in the production process by visiting our factories during production of their orders. If your supplier will not allow you access to factories then you really should not be producing there.
Order Size: We are happy to make and ship smaller than Full Container quantities subject to a minimum order quantity of 5000 pieces printed 1 colour. It is not really viable to print these low priced items in Australia, as the print will end up costing more than the bag itself. We are however happy to ship a quantity of unprinted bags along with the printed ones for clients to use in an emergency or special situation.
It is also quite easy for us to use 2-3 contrasting colours of fabric in one bag to give a more visible promotional look. e.g. handles one colour, Sides and bottom one colour and ends another colour. This will be always subject to fabric availability and minimums.
Quality:We offer all customers an unconditional quality guarantee from our factory in the form of a cash refund for any returned or rejected bags (fair wear and tear excepted). We employ a team of Quality Controllers, several of them experienced Australians who inspect all production both during production and also when signing-off on a shipment.

40’ holds 70,000 pieces.
Cartons holding approx. 50 pieces of a typical Supermarket non woven bag weigh 6.5kgs.
